Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026. This explains what ORBIT NOVEL collects, why, and how it's used.

Information you provide

When you create an account, we collect the username, display name, and password you choose. A real email address is optional and is only used as a recovery address, so you can reset your password if you forget it — you can add or leave this blank.

If you fill in your profile bio, publish a book, write a chapter, leave a comment, or rate a book, that content is stored and shown publicly on the site, attributed to your username.

Information collected automatically

We use your browser's local storage (not third-party tracking cookies) to keep you signed in and to remember your reading progress on this device, so you can pick a book back up where you left off. This information stays on your device and is tied to your account, not shared with advertisers.

How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information.

Where your data is stored

Account and content data is stored with our database provider, Supabase. Reasonable technical measures are used to protect it, but no online service can guarantee complete security.

Advertising

If ORBIT NOVEL displays ads (for example, through Google AdSense), those ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visit to this and other sites. You can learn more or opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings.

Your choices

You can update your profile, add or remove a recovery email, edit or delete a book you've published, and sign out at any time from within the app. To request deletion of your account entirely, contact us.

Children's privacy

ORBIT NOVEL is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
